Dr. Peter Ssenyonga

Dr Peter Ssenyonga received his medical degree at Mbarara University of Science And Technology, before going on to attain his Master of Medicine degree at The University of Cape Town. He completed his specialist training as a Fellow of the College of Neurosurgeons of South Africa.

Dr Ssenyonga is trained as a general neurosurgeon and has specialised training in paediatric neurosurgery. He is biased towards the surgical treatment of children’s neurological diseases like hydrocephalus, neural tube defects, oncology, epilepsy and trauma. Dr Ssenyonga is interested in research tailored towards better management of neurosurgical conditions.
